The submission period for films has closed for the 2024 festival. Please consider submitting your Short in 2025. We'd love to see it!

 

What are we looking for? 

Short Films, 20 minutes in length or less.

Choose the category that best fits your film.  

(The festival will curate a variety of screening blocks utilizing chosen submissions.  Screening blocks may or may not be genre specific.)

 

ROMANCE

Submit a romantic short film that captivates audiences with genuine chemistry between characters and a heartfelt narrative that enhances the romantic atmosphere. Keeping it concise with your storytelling leaves a lasting impact on viewers.

 

ADVENTURE

Submit an adventure short film that showcases a captivating story with characters facing challenges that resonate with the audience. Embrace adrenaline-inducing moments, ensuring a concise yet thrilling narrative that leaves viewers wanting more.

 

FANTASY

Craft an enchanting world with imaginative storytelling and visual elements, transporting audiences into a realm of magic and wonder. Create a concise narrative leaving viewers spellbound by your fantasy universe.

 

HORROR

Submit a gripping horror short film that combines heart-pounding suspense, compelling characters, and eerie tension. Infuse your narrative with innovative scares, ensuring the audience experiences a thrilling journey into the unknown.
 

ALL OTHER ARTISTIC SUBMISSIONS

Submit a short film that captivates from the opening scene, utilizing a compelling narrative, well-defined characters, and skillful cinematography. Make every moment count, ensuring the film engages the audience, offering a unique perspective or a fresh take on your chosen theme.

 

HIGH SCHOOL

Craft a compelling short film that reflects your unique voice, focusing on a relatable theme or emotion. Pay attention to concise and clear storytelling, engaging characters, and the technical aspects of filmmaking to make an impression on your audience.
